Split PDF is a browser-based PDF splitter that lets you divide one PDF into separate pages, fixed-size chunks, custom page ranges, or selected pages. Everything runs locally, so your file never leaves your device.
The tool supports four split modes. Split every page creates one PDF per page. Split every X pages creates chunks such as 2 pages, 5 pages, or 10 pages at a time. Split by page ranges turns each range into its own PDF. Extract specific pages combines selected pages into one new PDF.
Examples:
1-3, 4-8, 9-151-2,5-7,10-121,3,5,8The preview updates automatically whenever you change the split method or page values. It shows the output PDF name, the pages that will be included, the selected split method, and the result summary before you click Split PDF.
Each output PDF keeps the original page dimensions and orientation because the tool copies pages directly from the source document. Vector content and embedded images stay inside the copied pages, so quality is preserved as far as the original PDF allows.
Friendly validation messages explain common problems such as no file selected, an invalid or corrupted PDF, a password-protected PDF, an invalid page range, or a page number outside the document.
Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser. No files are uploaded or stored.
