Concatenate text from two separate blocks into one combined result, using any separator you choose. Merge Text A and Text B as whole blocks, or join them line by line so each pair of lines is combined with the separator between them. Everything runs instantly in your browser.
\n for a newline or \t for a tab.The Concatenate Text tool lets you merge two separate blocks of text, Text A and Text B, into a single combined result. Add a custom separator between them, and choose whether to join the two blocks as whole chunks or pair them up line by line—ideal for combining lists, merging column-style data, or building combined strings for code and spreadsheets.
\n for a newline or \t for a tabWhole block mode (default): The entire Text A is joined to the entire Text B with the separator placed once in between.
Text A: Hello
Text B: World
Separator: " - "
Output: Hello - World
Join line by line mode: Each line of Text A is paired with the line at the same position in Text B, joined by the separator, producing one output line per pair.
Text A:
apple
banana
cherry
Text B:
1
2
Separator: " = "
Output:
apple = 1
banana = 2
cherry =
Notice that since Text B only has two lines, the third pair uses an empty string for the missing value.
Separator: Any text you want inserted between Text A and Text B (or between each paired line). Type \n to insert an actual newline, or \t to insert a tab character.
Join line by line: When checked, lines from Text A and Text B are paired up and joined individually instead of merging the two blocks as one continuous chunk.
