The Unique Username Generator creates random, likely-unique usernames by combining an adjective, a noun, and an optional number, such as "SwiftFalcon42" or "CleverOtter817". Choose a naming style, separator, and digit count, then generate a batch of duplicate-free usernames for sign-ups, test accounts, or seed data. Everything runs 100% client-side in your browser.
The Unique Username Generator creates random, likely-unique usernames by combining a random adjective, a random noun, and an optional number suffix — entirely in your browser, using two built-in word lists of 200 adjectives and 200 nouns.

Every time a username is generated, the tool checks it against the ones already produced in the current batch. If a duplicate is found, it retries with a new random combination (up to 50 attempts) before accepting the result. This keeps most batches duplicate-free. If you request far more usernames than the chosen style and digit settings can realistically support, a very small number of repeats may appear after the retry limit — but with the default word lists and digit options, this is extremely unlikely for typical batch sizes.
All word and digit selection uses window.crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, rather than Math.random(). Everything runs locally — no usernames or settings are ever sent to a server.
